Product Manager - Payments

As a payments business, the Product Manager (Payments) role sits at the juncture of our clients, our tech and our business. You will take ownership of the existing payments capabilities, ensuring they continue to meet client and market needs, whilst also discovering new opportunities for current and prospect clients.

You will be expected to bring your industry knowledge and expertise to cover both disbursement and receive capabilities, working closely with our internal teams and external clients to solve problems and provide a world class customer experience.

To be successful in this role, you must work effectively across different functions – including Product, FinOps & Treasury, Engineering, BD/Sales, Marketing, Operations – to deliver product outcomes that delight and exceed our customer’s expectations.

What you’ll be doing…

• Take ownership of existing payments capabilities, ensuring continuous alignment with client and market demands.
• Proactively identify business opportunities, product ideas, and enhancements, that not only address customer pain points but also contribute to revenue growth.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product, FinOps & Treasury, Engineering, BD/Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
• Translate and articulate the "What" & "Why" to stakeholders, allowing them to determine the appropriate "How."
• Define products and features with clearly outlined outcomes, business value, and metrics.
• Work closely with Engineering Managers to produce Epics and prioritise detailed Features for the engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of their challenges and opportunities.
• Be a proactive leader, influencing stakeholders and guiding initiatives without formal authority.
• Support effective product go-to-market and sales enablement activities.
• Produce product collateral, guides, and documentation. Deliver sales and operational training.
• Be customer-obsessed, thoroughly understanding and documenting their pain points, needs, and requirements.
• Stay abreast of relevant markets, emerging technologies, innovations, and payment trends; and share relevant information with the teams.

What we’re looking for…

• You have experience (3-5 years) running, designing or developing payments or financial products and services for FinTechs or other Financial Institutions
• You have experience working well with product designers and software engineers
• You have a background in business, finance and/or tech
• You’re motivated by the opportunity to deliver high quality enterprise solutions to your customers & users
• You have excellent organisational skills
• You have the ability to influence stakeholders and lead without authority
• A deep understanding of payments and associated technologies
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

Product Manager - FX

As the Product Manager (FX), you will be responsible for defining, ensuring viability, and successful delivery of EMQ’s FX value proposition. You will be working closely with our customers, Sales, the internal Treasury team and the other Product Managers, to define and deliver outcomes that solve customer problems and grow business revenues.

To be successful in this role, you must work effectively across different functions – including Product, FinOps & Treasury, Engineering, BD/Sales, Marketing, Operations – to deliver product outcomes that delight and exceed our customer’s expectations.

What you’ll be doing…

• Proactively identify business opportunities and improvements to our FX product offerings and that solve customer problems and deliver revenue to the business
• Translate and explain the "What" & “Why” so that the Stakeholders can determine the appropriate "How"
• Define FX products and features with clearly defined outcomes, business value and metrics and work with Engineering Managers to produce Epics and prioritised detailed Features for the engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, focussing on a clear understanding of their challenges and opportunities.
• Support effective product go to market and sales enablement activities by producing product collateral, guides, documentation and delivering sales and operational training
