人难今：DigitalOcean 的一个物理节点坏掉被我碰上了

真是人生难免有今日。前天晚上手机GMAIL上收到DO的邮件：

We've had to unfortunately reboot your Droplet xxx due to an issue on the underlying physical node where the Droplet runs.

We are investigating the health of the physical node to determine whether this was a single incident or systemic.

还以为重启过就没事了，加上昨天有事一天都在外面就没理它，昨天晚上回来发现VPS根本无法登录，就给他们开了个票就去睡觉了。早上起来看回票，提供了两个方案：

试了一下第一个方案根本不行，仍然进不了console，估计第二个方案也是浪费时间，只能重装系统了…还好大部分东西我都有做rsync备份，只是感觉很不爽，显然DO的SSD相当不靠谱。

各位使用DO的同学还是自己做好备份吧，以防万一。

有没有什么工具，可以从虚拟机内部，检测VM所在的物理机？
这样的话，可以用不同机器上的VPS做一个HA，自动转移。

@sanddudu 通过VM API向内部程序提供一个ID，应该对虚拟机隔离和物理主机安全没什么大危害吧？
总觉得这个对组建HA Cluster用处还是蛮大的，不知道为啥主流虚拟化方案，都没这种API

@66CCFF 他们只给了那篇文章让我照做。问题是我貌似从来没有成功打开过它们那个console。给他们开票，他们说他们打开没问题…

1. If you are behind a restrictive firewall. opening ports 6000-7000 will usually clear this up.

2. If you are on a network with a double-NAT configuration.

3. If you are behind a web-proxy (almost all mobile broadband connections configure a proxy).

4. If you are on a satellite or other high latency connection as this can cause timeouts.

* Some security suites invisibly proxy web connections and may cause issues with our console.
搜了一下似乎有不少人有这种问题，有人换了浏览器就解决了，我试了chrome和firefox都不行…

实践证明开票也没用，他们提供的几个修复方案都是需要Console的。没办法，只能重装系统了……
