Senior Software Engineer (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops)

Understand and debug field issues. Diagnose customer problems through systematic root cause analysis, and deliver necessary code fix.
Develop, test, debug and integrate codes to deliver high-quality functions in an Agile environment. Perform maintenance functions to correct errors as necessary.
Collaborate with Product and Support team to understand product design and solve product issues for customer success.

Self-motivated and tenacious when tackling tough technical issues.
Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead team initiatives
Good understanding of OS kernel and Multi-threaded design & development
Experience on client/server system designs.
Experience on Web technologies such as SOAP, XML, ASP.NET, HTML5, JQuery, AJAX, JSON.
Microsoft Windows programming technologies such as Win32, WMI, COM/DCOM, .NET.
Knowledge about the Windows kernel programming environment.
Experience with internationalized software products
Experience with security-related software development.
Database fundamentals (SQL).

Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain ownership until the problem resolved completely with minimal over site from more senior members of the team
Act as an effective technical interface between the customer and 3rd Level Engineering / Product Development - by providing clear issue documentation and by leveraging productive cross-functional working relationships in their area of expertise
Act as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) in at least one core Citrix product and a resource for less senior members of the team as needed to troubleshoot and resolve specific customer issues. Develops an understanding of at least one adjacent product
Write & review complex technical articles and case studies for the knowledge base leveraging the customer reported cases, product specifications, and previous experience
Develop and review intermediate level technical training for internal and external audiences in at least one core Citrix product

5+ years hands on troubleshooting experience on Network System in enterprise level environments Understands the operating system resource management and builds OS level and/or network debugging skills in position
Ability to build code or script literacy while in position with the goal to have the ability to read and understand existing code and or scripts
Excellent logical thinking, problem solving and communication skills Solid English Written/Speaking skills to co-work with other teams in different region
Rich knowledge of Web technology like: HTTP/HTML/JavaScript/PHP/ASP
Rich knowledge of Networking (Routing, Switching, Firewall, TCP/IP, etc.)
Rich knowledge of L7 protocols (such as FTP, DHCP, DNS, etc.)
Knowledge of Operation System, especially Linux/FBSD

Develop software to enhance Cloud services delivery and management.
Analyze service performance to improve quality and customer experience.
Ensure 24/7 service availability of Citrix Cloud - address reported issues and provide root cause analysis.
Work with Product Development, Product Management, QA, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful deployments and address service delivery issues.

2+ years of experience building Cloud services and distributed systems – deployment, monitoring, scaling, debugging, etc.
Solid experience of coding with javascript, C#, or JAVA, python, etc.
Experience with source control and continuous integration tools a plus - Git/Stash, BitBucket, Jenkins.
Hands on experience public cloud providers - Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, IBM Softlayer
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills ##Preferred Qualifications
You have industry experience providing hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, secure and optimize Cloud services
Experience with container technologies: Kubernetes, Docker
Experience with logging platforms and application performance metrics a plus - NewRelic, Splunk, SumoLogic, App Insights Analytics.
Solid understanding of Windows development, debugging, administration and automation frameworks - C#/.NET, PowerShell, Chef, Puppet.
