顺手 Google 了下 networksetup， 排在第一个的就是苹果的 Manual Page. 里面明确写到“ The networksetup command is used to configure network settings typically configured in the System Pref-erences Preferences
erences application. The networksetup command requires at least "admin" privileges to run. Most of the
set commands require "root" privileges to run.”
所以说，软件作者要求 root 权限是合理。

至于回答楼主的 volunteer，在我看来他的语气与态度都是合理的 。
